In the fall of 2018, Christ Central Church joined the Mayfair neighborhood. Our church desires to offer this type of children’s program as a resource for any parent/guardian in the surrounding area.
We plan to start our new program in August 2019. We are happy to answer questions and offer tours as we prepare. Below is some helpful information as you consider our program for your needs.
School year: Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00-2:30. Extended care until 3:00 is available at an additional charge of $5. The school year starts August 5, 2019 and concludes May 20, 2020. We follow OKCPS for inclement weather.
Monthly Tuition: Early bird rate until May 15 is $180/month. After May 15, tuition will be $200/month. A $15 registration fee is required along with a fall and spring session fee of $25 per child. These fees help with basic needs- copy paper, ink, file folders, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. If siblings are joining our program there is a $5 discount on monthly tuition. $1/minute will be added to monthly statements if child is picked up later than 3:10pm. To secure your spot, please submit a non-refundable $50 deposit. This applies toward first month's tuition.
Ages of children: We accept children ages 6wks to Pre-K.
Drop ins: We do accept drop-in child care upon availability. We require notice- for Monday drop-ins, please schedule by the Wednesday before. For Wednesday drop-ins, please schedule by the Monday before. The drop-in fee is $25/day. For further information on drop-ins, please inquire at email@example.com.
Child care and curriculum: Children will receive developmentally appropriate care and teaching instruction. We will offer a planned early childhood curriculum and devote time each week for Bible study.
Teachers: All teachers must pass two background checks to be an employee. Teachers will be trained in First Aid/CPR. Certifications will be monitored to avoid expiration. Infant teachers will have proper sleep safe training when caring for babies. Teachers will have quarterly staff trainings and check-ins to ensure quality care and overall employee morale.
Director: Halie Campbell is serving in this role. She has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from the University of Central Oklahoma along with multiple years working in child care as support staff and as lead teacher. Since 2010, she worked in management in other service oriented professions. Upon the start of Christ Central Church in 2016, she helped start and lead the existing children’s program at the church for the first year.
Security: We understand the importance of safety with children. As we care for your child, we will keep our classroom space locked down outside of normal morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.
Note: Tours can be offered at specific times. To schedule a tour, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our church will be undergoing a major construction project to the southwest building April 2019-July 2019. This will not affect any space currently being used.
